Lab Technician Job Vacancy in Mohali, Chandigarh & Panchkula.

1. Sample Processing & Testing:

• - Collect, prepare, and analyze biological samples using automatic lab machines.
• - Perform routine and specialized tests, ensuring accuracy and adherence to established protocols.
• - Calibrate and maintain lab equipment to ensure optimal performance and reliability.

2. Report Generation & Verification:

• - Compile and deliver accurate and timely lab reports based on test results.
• - Verify the correctness of reports, cross-checking data to ensure consistency and reliability.
• - Communicate critical findings to the relevant medical personnel promptly.

3. Equipment Maintenance & Troubleshooting:

• - Operate and troubleshoot automatic lab machines and other laboratory instruments.
• - Perform regular maintenance on lab equipment, ensuring that all machines are functioning correctly.
• - Report any equipment malfunctions or issues to the Lab Manager and coordinate for repairs or replacements.

4. Quality Control & Compliance:

• - Follow strict quality control procedures to maintain the accuracy and reliability of lab results.
• - Adhere to all regulatory guidelines, including those related to safety, hygiene, and laboratory protocols.
• - Participate in internal and external quality assurance programs.

5. Coordination & Collaboration:

• - Work closely with other lab technicians, pathologists, and medical staff to ensure smooth lab operations.
• - Coordinate with the administration for inventory management, ensuring that all necessary supplies are available.
• - Assist in training junior lab staff and interns on the use of lab machines and protocols.

6. Documentation & Record Keeping:

• - Maintain accurate and detailed records of all lab tests, results, and equipment maintenance.
• - Ensure that all documentation is up-to-date and complies with legal and regulatory requirements.
• - Assist in the preparation of reports and documentation for audits and inspections.

• - Certification in DMLT (Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology) is required.
• - 2+ years of experience working as a Lab Technician, with specific experience in operating automatic lab machines.
• - Strong understanding of laboratory procedures, safety protocols, and quality control measures.
• - Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
• - Proficiency in using laboratory information systems (LIS) and other relevant software.
• - Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
